In September I had the opportunity to meet with Adnan Polat, a former SAP colleague. I heard about his last years at SAP, why he took the leap, and what he is doing now. He shared how he’s building his own business, which enables enables small businesses to leverage AI and streamline workflows.
Following our interaction he sent me this jazzy summary, along with the video below. So fun! I’m hoping to explore the use of his tech stack in my own work going forward. In the meantime, enjoy!

Meet Natalie Hanson.
If you ever wondered what happens when anthropology meets high-stakes business, let me introduce you to Natalie. Our paths first crossed years ago, back when she and a few fearless executives were rolling up their sleeves to lay down the foundation for a knowledge management competency center—in a global software company with 20,000 employees. Huge groundwork, and it was done with integrity and vision I still admire today.
Fast forward to our recent catchup, and it’s clear Natalie’s “build-it-from-scratch” spirit never took a coffee break. From steering engineering teams and scaling organizations from zero to 300 people (not a typo) to pioneering new paradigms in women’s health – she’s made a habit of leaving legacies, not just LinkedIn endorsements. Her North Star? It’s about building more than a name, it’s building positive change that lasts, especially in healthcare and equity. That connection to purpose resonates deeply with me; both of us have led diverse, global teams, harnessed tech for impact, and still believe the best work is human work. 🌍
What struck me most was her genuine curiosity, not just about what I do now, but why I left the corporate comfort zone to chase entrepreneurial challenges. Her words were simple and powerful: “You’re ready for the shift when you feel it. Apparently, your time is now.” It was a friendly nudge and a vote of confidence from someone who has transformed pivots into a superpower. 💡
Natalie proves that integrating social science, tech, and bold leadership isn’t just innovative, it’s necessary. If you’re interested in impact, reinvention, or stories that outlast titles, connect with her. Trust me: she’s just getting started.
